Day two in Seattle - we went to Pike Place Market, saw the first Starbucks coffee shop, a HUGE bookstore, ate in a vegan hotdog joint, walked around the Seattle Public Library and saw George Legrady's data viz installation above the circulation desk (George is a professor in my department at UCSB). Lots of walking.

woo hoo! The Public Market! Man, I wish i was there with you. Looks kind of gloomy. early fall is beautiful there. No sunny days this week?
