The Forge and Mark's Last Night

Mom has been cutting down years worth of overgrown hedges and small trees around the yard here in Penfield. The bricks used to cover the ground inside our old dog kennel and now they serve as the walls of a makeshift brush furnace. A few friends came over to hang out by the fire and visit before taking off to various locations around the globe (Seattle, Spain, etc).

Sparks look really cool when the shutter stays open long enough.

Drink More Coffee

Finals week coming up, lots of work to do, even on a Friday night. Seeta trades sleep for coffee and coding.

Lance in the Piano

This was right after a Rhythm Seminar rehearsal in Elings Hall, a new building that houses most of MAT and lots of non-MAT engineers. They put a nice Steinway in the lobby and sometimes I play there late at night.

Special Numbers

I guess this image dates itself. That's ok.
